STUDIO NEWS! Ok, we've been promising you some news on the next record for awhile now -- here it is!  Tiger Army is slated to enter the studio this November to begin work on their fourth full-length album, the follow-up to III: Ghost Tigers Rise!  Furthermore, the band has announced that the album will be produced by acclaimed producer Jerry Finn, known for his work with such artists as AFI, Morrissey, Rancid, Bad Religion and Smoking Popes among others!  Nick 13 had this to say on the subject: "I'm incredibly excited to work with Jerry.  He was the only person on my wishlist of prospective producers.  We see eye to eye on everything from our love of analog tape and vintage gear to the sad state of rock music, and I can't wait to hear what someone of his caliber will do for us sonically."  This album marks the first time the band has worked with an outside producer!
            Tour Ruled!  A huge "Thank you" to everyone who watched us on our dates supporting AFI and/or the headlining shows in between, it was one of the most amazing tours we've done.  Another huge "Thank you" to our dear friends in AFI for taking us on tour and giving us the opportunity to play before the largest crowds we've ever played to (by the way, Nick 13 performed "A Single Second" with AFI during their set at the Long Beach Arena, which will apparently be on a forthcoming DVD).  We're pretty sure that we've really played our last show before the record is done, so we'll see you everywhere next year!  News about the next album will be posted here as soon as we get it, so check back soon!

            3 headlining shows! Tiger Army will play THREE headlining shows during off days on the AFI tour: Ventura, CA + San Luis Obispo, CA + Tempe, AZ !!!  Tickets for all three shows are ON SALE NOW!  Head over to Tourdates now for all the details!  We know you've heard this before, but these shows will really, in all probability, be the last headlining dates before entering the studio this fall!  Support on all three shows will be The Warriors + I Am Ghost.

            More shows with AFI announced! Three new shows have been announced with AFI: Bend, OR --  Reno, NV -- Irvine, CA!!!  See more info now at Tourdates!  Bend and Reno are on sale NOW, and presale for Irvine begins today!  Speaking of presale, make sure you've added Tiger Army as a friend on Myspace & keep an eye on your bulletins for possible presale info on the Irvine show!  This show will sell out quickly, the Long Beach Arena show sold out within *hours* of going onsale to the general public!  We're really excited about playing with our old friends AFI again, you won't want to miss these shows!

            Tiger Army on Tour this week! The band begins its West Coast headlining run on Wednesday, June 21st in Reno, NV! Also scheduled are Seattle, WA -- Portland, OR -- Bend, OR -- Chico, CA -- San Francisco, CA -- Santa Cruz, CA and Irvine, CA where the band headlines Hootenanny 2006! As of right now, no dates are planned beyond these shows until songwriting and recording for a new album has been completed, meaning, if you don't catch us now, you *probably* won't get another chance until 2007, so don't sleep on it! Support bands for all shows (except Hootenanny) will be The Briggs and the Black Rose Phantoms. Go to Tourdates now! 
            San Francisco show sold out! The show at Slim's on 6/29 is now sold out! If you live in NorCal but didn't get tickets in time, we recommend heading to Santa Cruz or Chico instead, they're fairly close drives!

            English headlining tour about to begin! Tiger Army begins their run of seven headlining shows in England this Monday, May 29th!  The final tour routing is viewable at Tourdates now, including recently added shows in LONDON and MANCHESTER!  Our apologies to Scotland and Wales, time and routing constraints foiled the band's desire to play for you on this run, but we shall return!  It is however extremely unlikely that Tiger Army will return to the UK or the continent until 2007, so don't miss this tour, it will be well worth traveling for! 
            Tickets for West Coast shows on sale now! If you haven't heard yet, Tiger Army will do a short tour of the West Coast in June after their return from England!  Reno, Seattle, Oregon and Northern California are all covered, concluding with a headlining slot at the 2006 Hootenanny in OC!  ALL currently planned shows are viewable NOW at Tourdates, check them out!  Advance tickets are always recommended, many of these shows will sell out (especially San Francisco)! Following Hootenanny, the band will resume songwriting until ready to enter the studio.  To those who live in the East Coast, South, Midwest, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan and anywhere else that it's been too long since we've played -- we love hearing from you & when the next record is done, we will be back!

            Tiger Army plays UK headlining shows after Moz tour! For those of you were unable to get tickets to see Tiger Army support Morrissey in England between May 8th - 28th, good news! Tiger Army will headline SEVEN shows in the UK from May 29th - June 5th! More info is available at the Tourdates section! There are TWO shows in *major* UK cities that we cannot announce as of yet (May 29 & June 5), so please check back! Currently listed are: Brighton (30-5), Bristol (31-5), Nottingham (1-6), Newcastle (3-6) & Sheffield (4-6). Tickets for these shows are on sale now!
            West Coast June shows + Hootenanny 2006! Tiger Army hits the West Coast of the USA from June 21 - July 1st! This brief tour begins in Reno, NV and concludes in Orange County as a Tiger Army headlines Hootenanny 2006 in Irvine, CA! Support bands on all shows (except Hootenanny) are The Briggs and Black Rose Phantoms. Cities confirmed so far:
Reno, NV -- Seattle, WA -- Chico, CA -- Santa Cruz, CA -- San Francisco, CA! Tickets for most of these shows go onsale THIS WEEKEND! At least one show is being booked in Oregon, so keep an eye on the Tourdates section as one or possibly two dates have yet to be added!
            Album Update! Tiger Army's spent most of April in the practice pad, continuing work on new material. Since the last news update, one of the most talented & sought-after producers in rock has agreed to do the next record, more on that later! Over half the album is now written, and work will continue until it's time to begin rehearsing the set for the UK Morrissey tour. After the Hootenanny on July 1st, the band will once again resume work on new material until they're ready to enter the studio -- expected start date: this summer! The writing process has taken a bit longer than originally anticipated, but believe us, the new album will be worth the wait!
            Gig Archive fixed... The Tiger Army Gig Archive  (which can be found at Tourdates) has been corrected -- somehow 5 gigs from the 2003 tour with Rancid went missing. It should now be a complete listing of every live appearance the band has made. If you think you know of a show that is *not* listed, let us know! By the way, the band played its 400th show this spring!

            Tiger Army tours with Morrissey in the UK! Tiger Army returns to the United Kingdom this May where they'll support the one & only Morrissey for fifteen shows of his UK tour! Tiger Army joins the tour in Manchester on May 8th and plays all dates until its conclusion in London on the 28th. Dates are up now at Tourdates. Tickets for this tour sold out almost immediately, we hope you can make it! For those who are unable to obtain tickets, a few UK Tiger Army headlining dates are planned -- check back soon for more info!

            Tickets still available for San Diego THIS Friday! Tiger Army headlines two back-to-back shows at the San Diego House of Blues this weekend! The show for Saturday, Feb. 11th is now sold out, but tickets are still available for Friday, Feb. 10th! The two nights will feature different setlists, so you may want to check out both nights!             Tiger Army & MORRISSEY! Tiger Army will support the legendary Morrissey on his first two U.S. dates for his new album in March! Both shows take place in Oklahoma.             Headlining shows in Phoenix, AZ + Albuquerque, NM! Ok, we know we said no other U.S. shows were planned -- none were! BUT, Tiger Army will being going to Texas in March to play two *very* special shows (more on that later) and on the way there will be headlining shows in PHOENIX, AZ (Scottsdale) and ALBUQUERQUE, NM! Check out the info at Tourdates! You're lucky if you live near these cities as no regular touring is being planned until after the recording of the new album later this year! Advance tickets are definitely recommended -- both shows will likely sell out based on the turnouts for the Dark Romance tour last year! As for the two shows somewhere in Texas, we'll let you know more when we can! Tickets are still available for the two upcoming San Diego shows, but Saturday is close to sold out!             Nick 13 on Indie 103 FM! Everyone in the Los Angeles/Orange County area should tune into radio station Indie 103.1 FM this Thursday night (Feb. 2nd) between 8-10 PM! Nick 13 will be a guest on the show "Complete Control," hosted by Joe Sib! Mr. 13 will be interviewed, as well as spinning a few tracks on the air -- don't miss it! Ok, if you're at the Tiger Army show that's happening that night in Anaheim, you can miss it, but that's the only valid excuse! ;-)

            2nd San Diego show added! Check out the Tourdates section, a second show has been added at the San Diego House of Blues for Friday, Feb. 10th! Tickets are on sale now! There are still tickets left for the Feb. 11th show, but not many! Different sets will be played each night. All four Anaheim shows are long sold out and absolutely no other SoCal shows will be added, we promise! ;-) This is it -- there won't be a SoCal appearance until the middle of summer *at the earliest*! If you live in California, we suggest a roadtrip to San Diego! ;-)

            Anaheim tickets! Not long after the last news item, the last of four Anaheim HOB shows (Feb 2/3/4/5) sold out. As usual, people who did not get tickets were bummed. What is *not* usual, is that some of you will get a second chance, albeit a brief one. We were able to get an extremely limited number of tickets released for each night to combat scalpers. Check at Ticketmaster or the HOB box office (no service charge) for availability, but do it quick 'cause when these tickets are gone they ain't comin' back! ;-)
            San Diego show! Due to popular demand, a 5th SoCal show has been added, this one for the House of Blues in San Diego! Tiger Army will play SD on Saturday, February 11th, supported by The Briggs and The Phenomenauts. This show, like the ones in Anaheim, will sell out quickly, so don't delay in getting tickets if you want to go! Tickets for the 2/11 HOB San Diego show go on sale THIS Friday (Friday the 13th!) at 10 AM. Tickets will be available at the HOB box office with no service charge, or online at Ticketmaster. Check Tourdates for more info. There will be no shows in Southern California outside of Anaheim + San Diego until at *least* mid-summer!
            Tiger Army TATTOOS! Hop on over to the Photos section to check out the Tattoo gallery, which has just been updated again! It now features almost 70 T.A. tattoos! Have one that isn't up? Send it in!
            Merch restock... Just a heads up for those who are interested, several items that ran out just before Xmas have been restocked at the Tiger Army webstore.
