            Tiger Army still on tour! Tiger Army is still on the road with Social Distortion and will be until the end of November! It's been a great tour so far, with the exception of needing a new van engine in Florida! Thanks to all the fans old & new who've come out to the shows and hello to everyone we've met! The tour has already covered the most of the country and is now back on the West Coast!             Tour update! Just a little update from the road, the tour's going really well & the new lineup sounds great!             New Lineup for Tiger Army... Bassist Geoff Kresge announced his decision to leave the band to pursue other interests shortly after the end of Warped Tour. There were no arguments and everyone's on good terms. Rumors that the band has broken up are FALSE, as usual! No shows are being cancelled & Tiger Army will still be on the road this fall with Social Distortion. Playing stand-up bass on the upcoming tour is Jeff Roffredo, who will be familiar to many psychobillies as a member of early West Coast psycho band Cosmic Voodoo, later in the original lineup of Calavera. He's known among the psycho-scene as one of the nation's foremost slappers... On drums will be James Meza (aka "Wasted James"), who's played with Nekromantix and countless psychobilly bands local to the LA area. Read a message from Nick 13 on the subject here.

            New video is done!  The new Tiger Army video for "Rose of the Devil's Garden" from the new album III: Ghost Tigers Rise is done now! You can see it at Epitaph.com (56K / DSL)starting THIS Tuesday, August 24th! The video, directed by Vince Haycock (who's video credits include H.I.M., The Movielife and others) looks amazing -- it features some very stylized footage of Tiger Army as well as model Masuimi Max! Check it out online and if we can get the info beforehand we'll let you know when & where it will air elsewhere...
            Warped 2004 is over!  Tiger Army has just completed their 28-show run on the main stage for this summer's Vans Warped Tour and would like to thank everyone who attended, worked, or played on the tour -- we had a blast! It was great to meet you all at the daily signings & elsewhere... Hope to see everyone again this fall when we're on the road with Social Distortion (see news item below & Tourdates  for more details)!

            Tiger Army with Social D this fall!  Tiger Army will be supporting Social Distortion on a two-month U.S. tour beginning in late September and continuing through the end of November! The tour will include all regions of the United States. The first batch of confirmed dates are up now at the Tourdates section so check it out! Tickets for most of these shows go on sale Saturday, August 28th through Ticketmaster. More showdates and info on this tour will be added to the Tourdates  section throughout the coming weeks, so check back soon! The Tiger Army headlining tour that was being planned for the fall will now take place in the spring. We'll see you at the last few dates of Warped Tour!

            A sad announcement... Nick 13 writes the following: "We are very sorry to announce that our friend & brother Fred Hell will no longer be playing with Tiger Army, due to health reasons stemming from his shooting in March '03. Fred's courage and hard work has been an inspiration to everyone, but he's just not physically up to the challenge of touring. There are no hard feelings on the part of anyone, we're all just thankful for the last three years of playing together and the fact that Fred's alive. Best of luck to Fred in his continued recovery and pursuit of musical excellence, he will always be part of the Tiger Army family." Mike Fasano, who drummed on the band's latest album III: Ghost Tigers Rise has graciously agreed to step in for the shows on this summer's Warped Tour, which begin this week.

            Tiger Army on Warped Tour! Tiger Army is starting their monthlong run on the 2004 Vans Warped Tour now, the band's first show will be in Milwaukee, WI -- check out the Tourdates section! The band remains on Warped through the last regular show in Boston (Aug 19th). Remember, Tiger Army's set could occur at anytime during the day, so get there early! The band plans on signing & meeting fans everyday with few exceptions, so stop by the Tiger Army merch tent for details on when & where the band will be signing and what time/what stage they're playing!             OC in-store a big success! Thanks to everyone who showed up to the Tiger Army in-store signing at the Virgin Megastore at The Block in Orange County the other week! Fans of Tiger Army won't want to miss the band's most exciting work yet.             New video on the way!  All the filming for the new Tiger Army video "Rose of The Devil's Garden" was done this past Sunday at the Alexandria Hotel in downtown Los Angeles! The video will feature some very atmospheric footage of Tiger Army as well as model Masuimi Max! No word on when all the post-production will be complete, but we'll let you know!
            Release shows sold out, release show poster! Shortly after we put up the last news item, the last tickets for the July 11th show were gone, making both July record release shows at HOB/LA totally sold out! Thanks very much to everyone who bought tickets, these shows are going to be exciting! If you didn't get tickets, it is possible to win some at the OC in-store! A beautiful limited-edition poster (only 1,000 printed) by artist Chris Conn commemorating the release shows will be given away to lucky attendees on both nights.             Release shows sold out! The first Tiger Army record release show at House of Blues in LA on Saturday, July 10th is completely sold out & there were less than 75 tickets left for the Sunday, July 11th show as of this past Thursday afternoon (it's possible that those who are very quick might still get tickets for Sunday)! The band is really looking forward to these shows -- we'll see you there!
            Tiger Army to shoot new video! Tiger Army will be filming a video for the song "Rose of the Devil's Garden" at the end of June, the first video from the new album. The video will be directed by Vince Haycock, who's video credits include the band HIM and others. This will be the band's fourth video, and the first directed by someone other than Nick 13. More news on the video soon!

            Ghost Tigers EP in stores now! Tuesday, June 8th was the day that the new EP hit the shelves, try and find one if you haven't gotten it! It's a 10" vinyl picturedisc that features 3 songs from the upcoming album and one exclusive track, a cover of Morrissey's "The Loop." There were only 3,000 copies pressed, so act fast! Don't forget, the new full-length is out on June 29th!

            Tiger Army Warped Tour dates up now! All the dates that Tiger Army will be playing on this year's Vans Warped Tour can be viewed now at the Tourdates section! The band will be playing from July 20th to August 19th ONLY (the second month), which covers mainly the Midwest, the South, the East Coast (and Canada!). Please note that which cities Tiger Army is playing or not playing on Warped isn't up to the band. We look forward to seeing you there!

            Tiger Army in AP! The new issue of Alternative Press magazine has a cool feature article on Tiger Army this month, check it out! The article appears in issue #191 (June, 2004) of AP -- it's on stands now through the end of May! It's the first time a national music publication has run a full-length feature on the band, write to AP or your favorite music mag and tell them you'd like to see more of Tiger Army!
            Tiger Army on tour NOW! The 2nd leg of the 'Punks vs. Psychos' tour has just begun -- catch Tiger Army live in the Southern U.S. from now until May 16th! Four shows in Texas, one in Alabama, four in Florida and one in Atlanta, Georgia before the band heads home! For more info on the shows, check out the Tourdates section!
            Lineups for July record release shows confirmed! The bills for Tiger Army's two record release shows at House of Blues/Sunset Strip in LA have been finalized, check it out at Tourdates! Supporting on Saturday, July 10th will be Albuquerque, New Mexico psychobillies the 12 Step Rebels, with the Bay Area's ultra-aggressive electro/industrial outfit Psychlon_Nine opening; the Sunday, July 11th show will feature streetpunks Pistol Grip supporting and Long Beach psychos the Black Rose Phantoms opening. Tiger Army will be switching up the sets a bit each night for those who plan on attending both shows! Tickets for both record release shows go on sale at 10 am THIS SATURDAY (May 8th) at all Ticketmaster outlets! Purchasing tickets in advance for these shows is definitely recommended, they will sell out before the day of show, don't miss your chance to go!

Tiger Army will headline gigs in Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Florida and Georgia from May 4th to May 16th! Also, a word of warning, the PvPII shows for Hollywood (El Rey) and Anaheim (House of Blues) are both sold out!              Tiger Army anniversary! Tiger Army played its first show in Berkeley, CA eight years ago on March 29, 1996!              European Tour postponed! We're extremely sorry to announce that the European tour has been postponed until later this year -- due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Tiger Army will NOT be playing any of the advertised shows in Germany or the Netherlands in March. Read the full press release here. Apologies to anyone who's been inconvenienced or let down by this news -- just know that the band is as disappointed as you are! Make-up dates are being planned now, we appreciate your support & understanding despite this difficult situation and we WILL see you in Europe in 2004!
             Final streetdate announced for new Tiger Army album! Do you want the good news or the bad news? Okay, the bad news is: the release date for the new Tiger Army album has been pushed back one last time. The good news is: this will be the REAL release date, the day you can actually walk into a store and walk out with the new TA album! Here it is -- Tuesday, June 29th 2004!!!  The album is entitled III: Ghost Tigers Rise, it's on Hellcat Records and it's 13 tracks of Tiger Army's finest recorded work to date! A quick studio update: Nick 13 is currently recording vocals, most of the album is complete and mixing is scheduled to begin soon. Trust us, it WILL be worth the wait!

Some things are available for the first time online! So, if you haven't been to the webstore lately, follow the link at the Merchandise section of this page and check it out!             Tiger Army returns to Europe! Tiger Army will return to the European continent this spring for a brief tour and an appearance at the 14th Satanic Stomp psychobilly festival! The dates are in the process of being confirmed now. The tour will consist of approximately eight shows during mid-late March, mostly in Germany but with possible gigs in Belgium and Holland. These will be the band's first European appearances in over a year, Tiger Army looks forward to returning very much! Keep an eye on the Tourdates section over the next few weeks for more updates!
            Tiger Army headlines "Punks vs. Psychos II" this spring! Don't worry America, we didn't forget you! Tiger Army will tour much of the U.S. this spring while headlining the 2nd "Punks vs. Psychos" tour. Shows are still being booked, but we wanted you to know that TA will be on the road in April and May! This tour will include some long overdue visits to places like the Pacific Northwest, Texas and Florida! No dates have officially been announced yet, but you'll find show listings at the Tourdates section soon!
            Tiger Army on 2004 Warped Tour! Tiger Army will play the second half of the 10th Anniversary Vans Warped Tour this summer! Please note, the band is only on the SECOND HALF -- that's July 20th to August 19th. We're happy to announce that TA will be playing on the main stage this year -- we'll see you there!
            Change in release date for new Tiger Army album! The release of the brand-new album from Tiger Army, III: Ghost Tigers Rise is now set for Tuesday, May 25, 2004!!! The date had initially been set for late April, but the unfortunately the deadline just couldn't be met. Nick 13 is currently in the studio slaving away on the tracks, probably as you read this! From what we've heard so far, this record will definitely be worth the wait! There's a small feature on the upcoming album in this month's issue of Alternative Press, check it out and if you feel like it write to them and let them know you'd like to see more of Tiger Army in their pages!
